Juanita Thompson of Fort Worth, 81, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2014.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, Granbury Church of Christ, 1905 W. Pearl St., Granbury, 76048. Entombment: To follow in Greenwood Mausoleum in Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
Juanita was born Jan. 22, 1933, in Coleman County to the late Ross and Pearl Palmer. She was an active member of Granbury Church of Christ and formerly a member of Bridgewood Church of Christ in Fort Worth. Juanita enjoyed traveling, playing cards, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, James Thompson, and her parents.
Survivors: Son, Jim Thompson; daughters, Melinda McKenzie and husband, Craig, Gay Pitman and husband, Scott, Susan Duncan and husband, Paul, Donna Robards and husband, Clayton; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
