Betty A. Topel of Granbury, a devoted mother and loving mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday April 8, 2014 after battling esophagus cancer.

Betty was born Feb. 21, 1937 in Billings, Montana, where she was the youngest child of Lloyd and Marie Straight, she had four children Bonnie Cramer, Ronnie Harding, Alan Harding and Emmett Hankey. She was the proud grandmother of seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She found and married the love of her life Don Topel who preceded her in death along with her sister Cathy Asay, daughter Bonnie Cramer, son Ronnie Harding, mother Marie Straight and father Lloyd Straight.
