Benny Lee Brannon of Granbury, 48, passed away Friday, April 4, 2014 in Granbury.
He was born Oct. 26, 1965 in Mexia to Hancel M. and Denita J. Myers Brannon.
Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 8 at Triple Cross Cowboy Church in Thorp Spring. Interment: Granbury Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury.
Benny married Elizabeth VanZandt on Sept. 3, 1988 in Arlington. He was a member of Triple Cross Cowboy Church and had lived in Granbury for the past 21 years. He enjoyed shooting, auto mechanics and his family. He worked at Lowe’s Home Improvement as a sales associate.
Survivors: Wife, Elizabeth Brannon of Granbury; sons and their wives, Robert and Terah VanZandt of Tolar and Stuart and Sarah Brannon of Granbury; daughters, Katy Brannon and Laura Brannon both of Granbury; grandchildren, Bryce, Zach, Andrew and Elizabeth; parents, Hancel and Denita Brannon of Arlington; brother Audie and wife, Sue Brannon of Arlington; sister, D’Ann Etheridge and husband, Craig of Arlington; mother-in-law, Judy VanZandt; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Wray and Shelly VanZandt of Shreveport, LA. and several nieces and nephews
