HALO’s second ‘Chari-Tea’ set May 4

A fundraising tea event dubbed “Chari-Tea” will be 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, May 4, at the Bentwater Activity Center, 1800 W. Emerald Bend Court.

All proceeds will go directly to helping homeless pets in Hood County.

A selection of teas, finger sandwiches, scones, fruit salad and desserts will be served.

Live music and other entertainment will be featured.There will also be a bake sale.

The first Chari-Tea event was last year. The event is organized by the Hood County Animal Loves Organization (HALO).

The cost is $20 per ticket.

Make checks payable to HALO and mail them (along with seating preferences) by Monday, April 28, to: Lynne Green, 4322 Fairway Dr., Granbury, Texas, 76049.

Reservations are required because seating is limited.
