Brazos River Authority lake rangers were completing their efforts Monday to re-anchor channel markers and no-wake buoys on Lake Granbury.
Some buoys were displaced in the heavy inflow last week; others previously were sitting on dry land due to the low lake level.
Rangers will be checking the hazard buoys throughout the week and marking new areas as necessary. Many trees and sandbars that were exposed while the lake was low are now covered by water.
Boaters should be cautious of hazards that are just below the water surface and should stay near channel markers.
The lake is down about 4 feet. This time last year it was down more than 7 feet.
