The Turneys

April 12, 2014

Charles and Gail Turney began celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary in October 2013 with a trip to Virginia and Washington D.C. to enjoy the Northeast fall colors and vacation in a part of the country they had never seen. The history of our country and visiting with family were bonuses of the trip.

Their children David and Christi (Turney) Lundby and Carl and Mildred Turney planned to host a celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary with a small family gathering at the First Baptist Church of Granbury on their anniversary date, Dec. 6, 2013.

The celebration took place on Jan. 11, 2014, due to the ice storm Granbury experienced the weekend of Dec. 6.
