Mary Thaxton of Granbury and Alfonso Alonzo of Farmington, N.M. were united in marriage on Saturday, June 22, 2013, at First Baptist Church in Granbury.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Rev. Keith Coleman officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Rick and Lisa Thaxton of Granbury. Grandparent of the bride are Maureen Walker.
The groom is the son of Alberto and Yolanda Alonzo of Farmington, N.M. Grandparents of the groom are Alberto Alonzo Sr. and Gloria Montelongo of Farmington, N.M.
Jennifer Esparza served as maid of honor. Bridal attendants were Jesseca Thaxton, Robin Thaxton, Christina Regalado, Kim Regalado and Isabella Regalado.
Josh Latchner served as best man. Groomsmen were Mike Fernandez, Shay Russell, Michael Murphy and Rene Hernandez.
Ringbearer was Aaron Tolbert. Ushers were Ricky Thaxton and Steven Vizcaino.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at First Baptist Church in Granbury. Prior to the wedding, a rehearsal dinner at First Baptist Church was hosted by Alberto and Yolanda Alonzo.
The bride is a graduate of Granbury High School and the University of the Southwest in Hobbs, N.M. with a bachelors in Secondary Education. She is employed as a math teacher with Pirda Vista High School of Farmington, N.M.
The groom is a graduate of Farmington High School in Farmington, N.M. and the University of the Southwest in Hobbs, N.M. with a Bachelors in Secondary Education. He is employed as a Spanish teacher and baseball coach with Pirda Vista High School of Farmington, N.M.
Following a wedding trip to Costa Rica, the couple will reside in Farmington, N.M.
