Larissa Shae Blankenship of Granbury and Richard Luke Riddle of Abilene were united in marriage on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, at the Granbury Church of Christ in Granbury.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Dr. John Knox officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Randall and April Blankenship of Granbury. Grandparents of the bride are the late Jim and Pat Lattie.
The groom is the son of Richard and Lisa Riddle of Abilene. Grandparents of the groom are Jim and Mary Cunningham and Joyce Wille.
Haley Martin served as maid of honor. Bridal attendants were Billie Dee Mansfield, Cori Moore, Lacy Rountree, Kari White and Leah Nelson. Flower girl was Brenna Haynes.
Brother of the groom, Jacob Riddle, served as best man. Groomsmen were Andrew Blankenship, Ben Riddle, John Ferguson, Colin Pittman and Stefan Cox. Ringbearer was Wyatt Riddle, nephew of the groom.
Ushers of guests were Collin Pittman and Stefan Cox. Ushers of grandmothers and mothers were John Ferguson, Ben Riddle, Jacob Riddle and Andrew Blankenship.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Granbury Church of Christ. Prior to the wedding, a rehearsal dinner catered by Hoffbrau Steaks of Granbury was hosted by the groom’s parents.
The bride is a graduate of Granbury High School and received her Bachelor of Science degree in family studies with a certification in gerontology from Abilene Christian University. She is employed as a Meaningful Pursuits Coordinator with the Chisholm House of Abilene.
The groom is a graduate of Abilene High School and is studying to be a pharmacy technician at Cisco College in Abilene.
The couple resides in Abilene.
