Colleen Beeson of Granbury and Steve Cox of Waxahachie were united in marriage on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Lakeside Baptist Church in Granbury. The bride was given in marriage by family and friends present. Mark Forrest officiated the double-ring ceremony.
Daughter of the bride, Melinda Lively of Granbury, served as matron of honor.
Sons of the groom, Kevin Cox of Grand Prairie and Keith Cox of Irving, served as best men.
Ushers were Matt and Jackson Lively, Sam and Jacob Lively, grandsons and great-grandsons of the bride, and Phillip and Nick Cox, grandsons of the groom.
Following the ceremony, a reception/luncheon was held at Lakeside Baptist Church.
Prior to the wedding, a Silly Shower at La Quinta Inn in Granbury was hosted by Melinda Lively and Shari Smith.
The bride is a graduate of Belton High School and attended Mary Hardin Baylor College in Belton. She is a retired senior secretary for the city of Odessa city manager’s office in Odessa.
The groom is a graduate of Belton High School in Belton, and Texas A&M University in Bryan with a BBA. He is a retired accountant for Frito Lay in Dallas.
Following a wedding trip to Salado and Fredericksburg, the couple will reside in Waxahachie.
