June 7, 2014

Mr. and Mrs. Noble Anderson of Tolar celebrated their 50th anniversary on April 26, 2014 with a reception at the Tolar Church of Christ Fellowship Hall hosted by their children and grandchildren. Of the 140 guests attending, there were six that were present at the Anderson’s wedding in 1964.

Noble Anderson and the former Pat Wommack were married on May 2, 1964 at the Vinita Avenue Church of Christ in Sulphur, Okla.

The couple resided in Oklahoma until moving to Texas in 1980. They have lived in Euless, San Antonio, Arlington and Granbury where Noble served as CEO of AMPI before the Dairy Cooperative merged with three other cooperatives, forming Dairy Farmers of America, DFA.

After retiring in 2000, the Andersons built their home near Tolar and became part of the Tolar community. They spend their time ranching on their farm or keeping up with their grandchildren, who attend Tolar schools.

They have three children. Their daughter, Laura Phillips and her husband Wesley live in Granbury. Son, David Anderson and his wife, Renee, and son Mike Anderson and his wife, Robin, live in Tolar.

Noble and Pat have 10 grandchildren: Valorie, Cassidy, Brooklynn and Patricia Joyce (PJ) Phillips, Ford, Bailey and Reilly Anderson and Braden, Michela and Savannah Anderson.
