Lady Pirates open district volleyball today in Aledo

Coach Tammy Clark’s Granbury Lady Pirates (18-7), ranked 10th in the state by the Texas Girls Coaches Association, will open District 8-5A volleyball action at 5:30 p.m. today in Aledo. The Granbury Lady Pirates put away Weatherford’s Lady Kangaroos, 25-16, 25-20, 25-9, Tuesday night in a nondistrict volleyball contest on Leta Andrews Court in James Wann Sports Center at GHS.
