GHS 9th grade boys basketball games changed for Saturday

The games for the Granbury 9th grade Gold basketball games for Saturday (Jan. 24) in Granbury have changed, according to the office of GISD Director of Athletics Dwight Butler. The first game will be against Joshua, with tipoff set for 11 a.m. The second game will be against Aledo, and tipoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. Both games will be in the James Wann Sports Center.…

Pirates down Vidor in soccer opener; Lady Pirates fall in Lubbock

The Granbury High school boys soccer team blew away Vidor, 8-1, Saturday night at Pirate Stadium to open their regular season, scoring five times in the second half. Vidor and GHS are both Class 5A schools.
