Lady Pirates down Crowley in straight sets

The 11th-ranked Granbury Lady Pirates defeated Crowley, 25-17, 25-20, 25-21 on the road Tuesday night in a District 8-5A volleyball contest. GHS girls basketball coach schedules free clinic

Steve Schmidt, the new Granbury Lady Pirates basketball coach, announced that Granbury ISD girls in grades 3-8 are invited to a free basketball clinic, 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25. A parent or guardian must be present to sign a waiver at drop-off and to pick up the student. Girls attending are asked to bring their own basketball, with their name written on it, plus clean court shoes. Parents may register their child for the clinic by emailing Schmidt ([email protected]).…
