Granbury High golfer Zach Wall shot an 87 at Granbury Country Club Wednesday to win the second Hood County News/First Tee Junior Golf Tournament of the summer. Inaugural Kiwanis Firecracker 5K Friday

Two former Granbury High athletes received academic honors from their respective colleges recently. Volleyball player Paige Holt, who just completed her freshman season at Cameron University, was named to the Lone Star Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
