The Cornerstone Christian Academy boys basketball team defeated the Johnson County Sports Authority,  64-57, and the CCA girls were edged out by the JCSA girls, 31-30, Tuesday night. The North Central Texas Academy Lady Pioneers dropped a nondistrict home girls basketball game Monday night, 69-40, to Dallas Parish Episcopal School, a Class 5A private school. Lady Rattlers win Poolville tourney; Peregrino is MVP

The Tolar Lady Rattlers defeated Poolville, 49-27, on Saturday to win the Poolville basketball tournament. Tolar’s Hannah Peregrino earned the girls Most Valuable Player Award, and teammates Shelby Nunley and Elizabeth Bonnell made the all-tournament team. It was the first basketball tournament crown the Lady Rattlers have earned since 2011, according to coach Benita Carlton.…
