  • I am so ashamed at the older people in my church who walked out when a guess band started playing because they said they were to loud. These young men gave their testimonies afterwards which were very moving to all there. Why can you not understand to save this world you have to reach out to the younger generation.

  • Jeers to Cornerstone Christian for moving to the church across from the high school. I understand their need for more space, but traffic during the school year is already horrible and with the construction that is starting at GHS this year, will only get worse. Pearl St and Pirate Dr will be a nightmare!

  • Cheers to Baccus for a fun week of summer camp! My kids had so much fun.
  • To the military vet that rudely complained when a clerk made a mistake and did not enter his “military discount.”
  • FYI, HCN, our national anthem is “Star Spangled Banner,” NOT “God Bless America”!
  • Human kindness is alive & well in Granbury.

  • Since PK and Granbury are both “storage” lakes, and since Granbury is closer to downstream users, why can’t water be “stored” in Granbury Lake at a usable level until the water is needed downstream? The effect on PK would be minimal at all times. Our lake dependent businesses could begin to recover and stop the loss of businesses.

  • Jeers to people parking boat trailers at the conference center. Follow the rules. You are supposed to park across the street at Hewlett Park.
  • Shame on the lazy waitress that refilled our gravy bowl from another table and got caught!
  • Jeers to the candidate that used the church to campaign for public office.

  • JEERS to Granbury High School – If you need help, ask the retired people. There are coordinated social fighting in the halls during passing. The kids are taking videos of the fights. Where are the employees, teachers, assistant principals and principals when classes change?
  • Jeers GISD! We are so behind! How long is it going to take you people to introduce Spanish Immersion Language Curriculum to our district?

I don’t know where the voters received their information, that selling the city’s electric department was a good thing. You have truly done a disservice to this town and city employees.

Jeers to my neighbors who continue to put their unsecured trash out for pickup and don’t even seem to care that the crows peck it open and scatter in about and leaving it for the wind to blow into our yards to clean up.

We have many rights as Americans that don’t get flaunted. On May 17 we are forced to endure an open carry FLAUNT event. Businesses pitted against each other on whether to allow this craziness in their establishments. And mixing religion with it shows that these organizers are no different than the Middle East- just a different religion.
