Jeers to the Hood County Appraisal District. Just got your appraisal and it up 10% from last year. My bank had an appraisal done and it is 10% lower than last year.
Do we really need to hire an architect to build the dog pound? I am sure some local builder needs some work; he can put together two offices for receptionist, dog catcher, 2 bathrooms and pins for the dogs.… Read the rest

With Lake Granbury down 6 feet and no rain in sight, people still water lawns like the lake is overflowing. The best solution to saving our lake is to replace large lawns with xeriscaping.

Happy to see a Dairy Queen back in Granbury but we need new restaurants and other businesses on other highways or even on West 377.
America is in decline, as is Granbury, with the County Judge and Commissioners voting to deny the use of the People’s Courthouse for the National Prayer Breakfast…Excuse, the Ku Klux Klan or Muslims might complain. … Read the rest

Jeers to the person who took the brown rubber boots off a cart on April 21 at around 4:30 p.m. We forgot them and were coming back to get them. They were left for about 10 minutes. They were going to be for work.
