Bentwater resident Norman Stanley Fott, a longtime boxing judge, was selected to work a major boxing card featuring eight fights on Jan. 10 in Fort Worth.

The main event was a six-round fight between two previously unbeaten fighters, Ray Ximenez and Jessie “Angel” Hernandez.

Ximenez won the fight in a split decision.
