Olen “Jay” Click Jr. of Granbury, a Marine veteran, died peacefully at his home on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, surrounded by family.

Memorial service: Monday, April 6, 2015, 11 a.m. at Wiley Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Barbara N. Click.

Survivors: Mr. Click is survived by two daughters, Barbara G.

Rexena Pearl Thompson Scales, age 88, of Electra passed away March 30, 2015 in Wichita Falls.

Rexena was born March 16, 1927 in Corsicana to the late Rex James Thompson and Jeannetta Frances Williams Thompson. She grew up in the Electra area and graduated from Electra High School in 1945.

After graduation, she was employed by the Electra Telephone Company as a telephone operator and retired as the company’s bookkeeper in 1965 when she began her family.

Royce Don Cox

Royce Don Cox, 71, of Midland and formerly of Granbury, went to be with God on March 29, 2015. After a heroic battle with aphasia, Royce passed away at home, comfortably in his sleep, with his beloved family around him.

Royce, a devoted servant, loved the Lord. He enjoyed spreading this love through singing with his friends and fellow congregation members of Kelview Heights Baptist Church.

He was born Oct. 2, 1928 in Bandera. His parents were Lois Avery Hillman and Ferdinand “Ted” Hillman.

George was born January 29, 1929 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania to George and Mary Arlene Stephenson.

A few months after graduation from high school, he enlisted in the Army Air Corp.

He was preceeded in death by son, Paul Leonard Scott.

He is survived by: Wife, Virginia (Ginny) Scott; children: Les of Georgia, Marjie Scott Roche and husband Gerald of South Carolina, Loren Scott and wife Joanna of Granbury, Leonard and wife Sabrina of Granbury; grandchildren: Angie Roche, Joshua Roche and wife Jennifer, Kevin Roche, Nicole Scott, Adam Scott, Daren Scott, Bryan Scott (U.S.M.C.), Shalane Scott, Landon Scott, Kristine Scott, Jacob Scott and wife Victoria; great-granchildren: Addison and Kane.
