Virginia (Ginny) Carol Friend Hagan of Granbury passed away Jan. 9, 2015.

She was born December 22, 1921 to Anna Marie Marks and Arthur William Friend in Milwaukee WI. She resided in Whitefish Bay and Rockford IL.

She had one brother Robert Friend and one sister, LaVerne Krieger, now deceased.

Virgina graduated from Rockford High School in 1939.

Wanda Valdez of Granbury, 90, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015.

Service was Monday, Jan. 12, in Mount Olivet Chapel in Fort Worth. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Wanda was born to Nate and Zella Meredith on Aug. 26, 1924, in Ozawkie, Kansas. She was the fifth of seven siblings. She married Augustine Valdez in July, 1947, in Texas.

For 85 years, Amanda showered her friends and family with love and care. She was born June 21, 1929 in Marshall, Texas to Edgar H. and Fawn Baldwin Allen. She grew up in Marshall during the Great Depression and World War II—events that greatly shaped her life—and graduated from Marshall High School.

Vincent Hayes of Granbury died on Monday, Dec. 29, 2014 at Harris Hospital in Fort Worth.

He was born on July 14, 1959. In 1981 he married Mary Schafroth Moore. He will be greatly missed.

Vincent is predeceased by his parents, Dana and Laura Hayes.

He is survived by his siblings Norman Hayes, Diane Nona and Martha Trahan, his loving and devoted wife, Mary, of 33 years; and though he may never have fathered a child he was Dad to three, Antoinette, Michael and Charles, grandfather to 23 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, as well as several nieces and nephews.
