Maggie McKee Umphress of Granbury, 88, passed away peacefully at her home after a lengthy illness Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2014.
She was born Sept. 4, 1926 in Granbury and spent her life in this area.
A memorial was held in her honor Sunday, Feb. 24 at her estate.

Carmen Loretta Sanborn, 77, of Granbury, passed away on Jan. 17, 2014 in Granbury.
Carmen was born Dec. 16, 1936 in Great Falls, Mont. to Clarita and William Sanborn. After graduating from Cornell School of Nursing in New York City, she worked as a nurse in Ohio and Washington state. Arthur Joseph Destefano of Granbury, 99, passed away Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014 in Granbury.
A military memorial service was held for him on Monday, Feb. 24, 2014 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
He was born March 12, 1914 in Butte, Mont. and worked as an electrical engineer. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Charles Alan (Charlie) Norris, 31, passed away at his home in Granbury on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014.
He was born on March 25, 1982 at Ft. Hood to Larry and Rebecca Norris. Charlie lived in Apple Valley, Minn. with his family for all of his childhood where he graduated from Rosemount Minnesota High School in 2000.
