Tommy and Judy Patterson of Granbury recently celebrated their 50th anniversary.

Tommy Patterson and the former Judy Sinku were married on Sept. 9, 1965 at Eastover Baptist Church in Fort Worth.

Tommy served in the U.S. Navy from 1965 to 1969 in Norfolk, Virginia.

Tommy owned an air conditioning business in Fort Worth for 15 years.

James and Betsy (Urban) Dennis of Granbury recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married Aug. 21, 2015, in Waco.

James retired from the mortgage industry. Betsy works part-time for The Law Office of Daniel P. Webb in Granbury.

James graduated from Waco High School and Texas Christian University in 1961.

Maislie Rose was born at 1:15 p.m., Monday, Aug. 3, 2015, at Lake Granbury Medical Center. She weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces and was 18 1/2 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Michael and Patricia Kelly of Granbury.

Ronald and Mary Ann (Kelly) Prewitt of Granbury recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married Aug. 28, 1965, in Crane.

Ron retired from Devon Energy Corp in 2011 after a career of 43 years as a geophysicist in the oil industry. Mary Ann is a homemaker.

Both are graduates of Crane High School and Texas Tech University.

James and Evalyn Willis were married Aug. 21, 1965, in Fort Worth. Dr. James Harris officiated the ceremony at University Baptist Church.

With a half-dozen children between them, they merged into one family-David, Margaret, Charlie Willis and Mark, Steve, Frederick Paul Jopling.

James retired from LTV after 27 years of service and Evalyn retired from IBM after 20 years.

Laura was given away be her parents and brother, Daniel. Guests enjoyed a reception at the Omni Hotel in Austin following the service.

John and Carolyn met at Central State College (now University of Central Oklahoma) in Edmond and were married in Nicona Park, Oklahoma on July 24, 1965.

Brooks Holden was born on Monday, June 15, 2015 at Lake Granbury Medical Center.

He weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce, and was 20 1/2 inches long.

Brooks was welcomed home by his big brother, Bennett Grayson Blass, 2 1/2.

Mike and Karen (Austin) Case celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 17, 2015.

Mike Case and the former Karen Austin met at Amarillo College and were married at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Amarillo on July 17, 1965.

They currently live in Granbury and are members of Our Savior Lutheran Church.
