Elizabeth was born in Tolar, where she still has family ties, although her immediate family moved to Fort Worth during WWII. Bill was born in Fort Worth.

They formally met through friends as children and dated in high school.

Rusty and Sherry Jumper, of Granbury, celebrated their 50th anniversary with an Alaskan Cruise.

Rusty Granvil Jumper and the former Sherry Leah Smith were married on Sept. 4, 1964 at First Christian Church in Lufkin.

Sherry and Rusty both are retired from BP Oil Company.

The couple has two children, Lance and David, and seven grandchildren.

They have lived all over the state of Texas including Fort Worth, Waco, Texarkana, Tyler, Temple, Watauga, and Abilene.

The couple met on a blind date while both were students at Granbury High School. Susan was 15 and Mark was 17 years old. They have marked each milestone anniversary with an extended trip. For their 15th anniversary, they toured Alaska.

The couple married June 24, 1944 in Shaker Heights, Ohio. They met as children in the third grade in Cleveland Heights, Ohio and have been lifelong friends.

Donny is retired from Lockeed Martin. Jean is a retired florist. The couple enjoys working in the yard, farming and spending time with their family.

Mr. and Mrs. Noble Anderson of Tolar celebrated their 50th anniversary on April 26, 2014 with a reception at the Tolar Church of Christ Fellowship Hall hosted by their children and grandchildren. Of the 140 guests attending, there were six that were present at the Anderson’s wedding in 1964.

Noble Anderson and the former Pat Wommack were married on May 2, 1964 at the Vinita Avenue Church of Christ in Sulphur, Okla.
