Mike and Karen (Austin) Case celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 17, 2015.

Mike Case and the former Karen Austin met at Amarillo College and were married at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Amarillo on July 17, 1965.

They currently live in Granbury and are members of Our Savior Lutheran Church.

Melvin and Regena Smith of Granbury recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.

They were married in Durant, Oklahoma on July 17, 1950.

They have one daughter, Renee’ Murray and son-in-law Tony Murray, two grandchildren, Kendra Lovell, and husband Hayden Lovell, Justin Kimbrough and great-grandson, Kayden.

The couple will celebrate with a trip to the east coast this fall.

The bride is the daugher of Janet and Jack Stanley of Granbury.

The groom is the son of Donna Huggins of Burleson and formerly of Granbury and the late Jimmy Lee Huggins.

Justice of the Peace Danny Tuggle officiated the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of David Brodlowicz of East Aurora, New York and Susan Hutchinson of Amherst, New York.

Grandparents of the bride are Betty and Hubert Kimbrell of Hubbertville, Alabama.

Don Virgil Keel and the former Betty Jean Nichols were married on July 1, 1945 at First Methodist Church in Dublin.

The bride-elect is the paternal granddaughter of the late Troy and Norma Greenlee and maternal granddaughter of the late Bill and Nan Love, all who lived in Snyder.

David Lynn Southern and the former Claudia Jean Parrish were married on June 14, 1975, at Central Church of Christ in Corsicana.

The couple met and worked together through the Student Press Association in college at Abilene Christian University.

Chris and Leah Stembridge of Granbury announce the birth of their son, Cru Dewayne Stembridge.

Cru Dewayne was born Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Lake Granbury Medical Center. He weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce and was 19.5 inches long.

Maternal grandparent is Susan Griffith of Granbury. Paternal grandparents are Bobby and Julie Stembridge of Granbury.
