Animal ordinance amended for Saturday’s bull riding

After viewing a letter of approval from an Environmental Protection Agency official for a special bull riding event, on Tuesday morning the Granbury City Council amended the ordinance pertaining to animals not being permitted on the City Beach, City Manager Wayne McKethan said. Officers search for man who fled from warrant service

Alfonso Moncibais IV, 28, who lists a home address in Del Rio, left from a residence in the River Country Acres subdivision in a vehicle before authorities had a chance to serve him with a felony warrant at about 9:15 a.m. Sunday, prompting several Hood County Sheriff’s Office deputies, two DPS troopers and a K-9 unit to search for the man for several hours according to Lieutenant Johnny Rose.…
