The Tolar Lady Rattlers fell into a 17-point hole after the opening quarter against visiting Paradise Tuesday night and were unable to recover, falling 53-43.
The Lady Rattlers (5-5) were down 22-5 after the first eight minutes as Paradise blitzed to an early command. Tolar closed to within 35-21 at the half, but found themselves down 46-26 entering the fourth as Paradise once again came out sizzling in the third quarter.… Read the rest
The Tolar Rattlers started strong and played Comanche even through one quarter, but then the home team pulled away to defeat the Rattlers 54-39 in their basketball game Tuesday night.
Hunter Ryan led the Rattlers with 11 points and seven rebounds. T.J. Foster had 11 rebounds, eight assists and four steals.
The game was tied at 12 after the opening quarter, but then Comanche outscored the Rattlers (0-2) in each of the next three periods to slowly pull away.… Read the rest
The Tolar Lady Rattlers had their ups and downs this volleyball season, but three of the definite “ups” were seniors Reagan Mabery and Madson Prichard-Warren, along with sophomore Hannah Lee.
Coaches in District 10-2A share this opinion as they named all three to the all-district team. Mabery and Prichard-Warren garnered second-team honors and Lee was honorable mention.

Tolar football fans will be able to look back on the 2012 and 2013 seasons as two of the best campaigns in the history of the school.
It also will be associated with the careers of two of the Rattlers’ all-time most productive offensive performers – record-setting running back Cory Solomon and quarterback Corbin Wood.

In the span of a few seconds, the North Central Texas Academy Pioneers went from celebrating a big play to dealing with their football season coming to a shocking conclusion Tuesday.

The Tolar Lady Rattlers, playing in their first basketball tournament of the season, had a championship within their grasps Saturday night.
Instead, they brought home a runner-up trophy as former district foe Peaster came from behind and escaped with a 48-45 victory in the finals of the Italy Tournament.

SPRINGTOWN – Tolar’s football season ended in the area round of the Class 2A Division II, Region II playoffs for the second year in a row as the Rattlers fell to unbeaten S&S Consolidated 28-6 on a cold, drizzly Friday night at Porcupine Stadium.
