To the person in Rancho Brazos who took in my 2 black long haired male and female chipped cats, I appreciate you giving them a home, but they already have one and are missed deeply. Please find it in your heart, to let them come back to their only home they know by letting them back outside.

Cheers to Commissioner Deaver. “There are things people can do without. They need them, but they can do without them.”

Jeers to those throwing trash on our roads. Stop!

Cheers to Coach Allen and the other AMS coaches who helped Tyler during his seizure! That had to be a scary situation for everyone and kudos for handling it so well!

Cheers to the restaurant manager for taking care of us when there was a little issue! An extra cheer for realizing that we had two daughters, so when he gave one a brownie & ice cream dessert to go, he also gave one to the other! It was nice not to have to hear them fight over it, or get upset for having to share!

Cheers to Hood County Law Enforcement for going after illegal drug users. “Recreational” drug use is NOT a private act as it affects EVERYONE in our community to some degree. Everything from higher taxes to death!

Cheers to Democrats across the country for fighting for liberty, equality, justice and humanity for all.

A dedicated Public Defender office for Hood County such as the one in Burnet County would level the legal playing field for indigent defendants and be an ultimate cost saving blessing to the County.

I hope those investigating the criminal defense system in Hood County check jail visitation records against court records to see how long it takes defense attorneys to visit felony defendants in jail, how much time is spent with them, and how many times they are visited.

Cheers to the general manager of a restaurant on Highway 377. Our tire was damaged as we drove down Highway 377 yesterday afternoon. It started to leak air very rapidly. We pulled into a parking lot to change the tire and before we could get out of our car, Shane, the general manager, was there to offer to change our tire for us.

Canyon Creek: We have a new and improved gate hooray!

BRA just sent me my annual bill for water usage from Lake Granbury. The area behind my house is totally dry and has been for over a year. There is no water for me to extend my intake line into.

Thank you to those who have dedicated their time and careers to protecting our children in Hood County.

Downtown Granbury always looks so wonderful at Christmas time. God bless Granbury.

God bless the serenity group of Alcoholics Anonymous. They saved my life.

We need a socially just world where unearned privilege does not exist. Being different or having a different perspective can enrich society. Differences among people should not be feared or oppressed but celebrated and accepted.
