When the tornado hit, 18-year-old Iris Martinez didn’t have time to think.

She was crouched in the bathroom with her father and brother in the family’s Rancho Brazos home at 3208 Highview Ct.

“Honestly, it happened so fast,” she said. “I couldn’t believe it that I was there – living it.”
