Two facing felony charge in connection with Thursday shooting incident

Cesar Miguel Delarosa-Martinez, 31, and Jose Guadalupe Perez, 34, are facing identical second-degree felony charges of burglary of a habitation with assault ($100,000 bond) in the aftermath of a shooting incident that took place Thanksgiving night at a residence in the 3900 block of Canyon Road east of Granbury, according to Sheriff Roger Deeds. A third man, age 22, whose identity has not been released by investigators, was wounded in the chest when the homeowner fired a shot from a .22-caliber rifle during the disturbance, Deeds said. “He may be filed on in the future with a criminal offense,” Lieutenant Johnny Rose said Sunday of the wounded suspect, who is listed in critical condition at a Fort Worth hospital. Other aspects of the case are still under investigation, Deeds and Rose said.
