Tolar High School dismisses classes after minor fire leads to power shutoff

Principal Bucky Wood announced shortly before 1:30 p.m. today (Tuesday, March 18) that Tolar High School classes have been dismissed for the rest of the day because electricity to the school had to be temporarily cut off while United Coop workers repaired a power line that caused a minor grass fire when it snapped and arced. Firefighters quickly contained the fire, which only burned a small patch of grass near the football field.
