Three flown to Dallas after fire in Blue Water Shores

A 7-year-old boy, a 15-year-old girl and a 42-year-old man were flown in separate air ambulances to Parkland Hospital in Dallas because of burns suffered early Thursday morning when the single-wide mobile home they were in caught fire, Hood County Fire Marshal Ray Wilson said. Wilson said their extent of their injuries is not yet known. An adult female, the mother of the two children, was home but uninjured, Wilson said. The cause of the fire, which was called in just before 1 a.m., is under investigation. The home was a total loss, Wilson noted.
