August 21, 2013

Hood County Animal Control Sergeant Kelly McNab said Wednesday evening that three cases of rabies have been confirmed – two skunks in Acton, found within a mile of each other, and one bat south of Granbury off of Glen Rose Highway. McNab urged all animal owners to make sure vaccinations are up to date, and asked that anyone who spots a possible rabid animal to keep their distance and call Animal Control at 817-573-4277.
