The November election provided learning opportunities for Granbury High School students. Students in U.S. government classes served as student elections clerks at actual Hood County polling sites on Election Day and during the early voting period. Students assisted precinct election officials with voting machines and with verifying voter eligibility. The students were eligible to serve under a relatively new state law designed to promote voting awareness among pupils. Students participating were Hailey Bendewald, Hailey Caddell, Kelsey Clarke, Maria Bianca Espinosa, Kyle Koiner, Iris Martinez, Amy Mendoza, Benjamin Reid and Aubrey Reinhardt.
