Sheriff: Rancho Brazos residents free to re-enter now that storm has passed

The Rancho Brazos subdivision has been re-opened to residents after the line of severe thunderstorms passed by Hood County without incident this afternoon. The subdivision will be open until 8 p.m. tonight, Sheriff Roger Deeds said. After tonight’s enforced curfew, then it will open again at 8 a.m. tomorrow (Wednesday) and will remain open “from then on with a good law enforcement presence,” the sheriff stated.
