The bond issue Granbury School Board members are considering has evolved through an ongoing list of needs from educators, parents and citizens, school spokesman Jeff Meador said. It’s “based on aging facilities, growing programs (such as career and technical education and fine arts), and more recent efforts to improve technology infrastructure and building security,” Meador said. A bond steering committee will make recommendations to the school board early next month. An election could be in November.
