Hood County deputies responded to a residence on Quail Ridge Court northeast of Granbury shortly after 6 p.m. Friday after a 911 call from a babysitter reported that a 5-year-old boy had a knife and was threatening to kill everyone there, according to emergency scanner traffic. The scanner indicated that the babysitter reported suffering an arm cut, and told the dispatcher she locked the boy out of the house. A deputy on the scene then reported that the knife had been taken from the boy and he had been detained. No additional information is available at this time.
