Ragan found guilty in capital murder trial, sentenced to life without parole

Justin Wade Ragan, 24, of the Oak Trail Shores subdivision northwest of Granbury, on Thursday afternoon was found guilty of capital murder by a jury in 355th Judicial District Court and received the automatic sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole for the Jan. 17, 2012 shooting death of Gene Sabin during a robbery at T.J.’s Private Club and Cafe. Two other capital murder defendants in the same case – Kimberly Danielle Milwicz and Gordon Ray Lewis – will be tried separately.
