The City of Granbury will be hosting two public meetings to informcity utility customers about the new rate structures that were approved by the City Council at its regular meeting Tuesday (May 7) night. Electric rates will be coming down, but water rates will be increasing. However, the rate increase will primarily affect commercial customers who use larger quantities of water, not the average residential customer, city officials said. One of the meetings will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 21. The other will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 30. Both meetings will be held at American Town Hall, 220 N. Travis St.
