Police: Three arrested after gun incident at local restaurant

Two men and a woman are under arrest after an incident shortly after 11 a.m. Friday (Dec. 7) at the drive-through window at the McDonald’s on South Morgan Street in Granbury in which one of the men, in the back seat of a vehicle, reportedly pointed a firearm at an employee working there and stated he was “going to kill” her, according to Granbury Police Department Lieutenant Cliff Andrews. The lieutenant said that the man who had the gun, described as “what appeared to be” an assault rifle, likely will face a felony count of deadly conduct. Other charges could include a minor consuming alcohol and possible marijuana-related offenses, Andrews said. No one was injured during the incident, Andrews noted, and all three suspects are believed to be local residents.
