Plywood fire extinguished at Wolf Hollow power station

February 2, 2014

Firefighters responded to a minor plywood fire on scaffolding at about 6:30 a.m. Sunday at Wolf Hollow Generating Station just east of Glen Rose Highway south of Granbury and quickly extinguished it before there was any damage to the plant, Hood County Fire Marshal Ray Wilson said. No one was injured and there was no service interruption, Wilson said. The blaze was ruled as accidental, as heat from a startup unit caught the plywood on fire.
