Pilot of Ultralight craft tried to pull up out of landing

Paul Easley, 38, of Dublin, the pilot of the Ultralight aircraft that was damaged when it hit the ground Friday afternoon in a field near the Granbury Regional Airport was trying to pull up out of a landing when the engine “lost power,” according to DPS Senior Trooper Dub Gillum. Easley was not injured, Gillum confirmed on Monday.
