Pedestrian injured downtown released from LGMC

Donald Curtis Kelley, 69, of deCordova, the pedestrian who was injured when he was struck by a van Wednesday during the noon hour across from the old courthouse in the 100 block of East Pearl Street, was released to go home late that night after being treated for ankle, head and knee injuries at Lake Granbury Medical Center, according to Kelley and other sources. Kelley is a part-time visitation minister at Acton Methodist Church.
