Less than a week left in online voting to help Quinton McLean

May 3, 2013

Time is running out to vote online (once daily) for Quinton McLean to give him a chance of being named as a recipient of a customized wheelchair-accessible van through the website www.mobilityawarenessmonth.com. Quinton, 10, was born with a disability that deprived him of his motor skills, and his family does not own a suitable vehicle to transport him from their home in Hico to his medical appointments in the Metroplex. His dad, Lance McLean, is a patrol sergeant with the Hood County Sheriff’s Office. Anyone can go to the Mobility Awareness Month website and vote, through May 10. A link to the site can be found on the Hood County News website.
