Officials seek clues in missing man case in DPS helicopter

The Hood County Sheriff’s Office enlisted a DPS helicopter and a Brazos River Authority lake ranger Thursday to take advantage of the low water level in Lake Granbury and search for signs from the air of missing Pecan Plantation man Bill Moore or his vehicle. Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Biff Temple said nothing out of the ordinary was spotted anywhere, including overpasses, boat ramps and shorelines. Moore was 82 when last seen by family members, leaving the gated community March 10, 2012 in his brown, 1997 Dodge Ram pickup.
