Officer: Pedestrian injured; pickup leaves scene

An unidentified man sustained what were believed to be nonlife-threatening injuries  shortly after 5 p.m. Thursday  when he apparently walked into traffic on Highway 377 near the intersection with Davis Road and was struck by the side of a pickup that was pulling a trailer, according to a Granbury police officer. The driver of the pickup did not stop, the officer added, but no witnesses were able to provide a license plate number or a make and model of the vehicle. People at a nearby restaurant said they’re familiar with the man and he is homeless.
