It started with a casual meeting of the dozen or so food pantry coordinators in Hood County. Since that initial meeting more than two years ago, several community projects to “Feed the Hungry” have been tackled. With its expanding presence in the community, the group has taken an official name, Neighbors Feeding Neighbors. “We’re going to incorporate as a 501(c)3 nonprofit,” said Hood County News Publisher Jerry Tidwell, board president for the group.
