Negotiations continue for city attorney

The Granbury City Council came out of closed session during their regular meeting Tuesday night and took no action to renew the contract of City Attorney Stuart Neal. Sources report that Neal is trying to negotiate an arrangement in which he would continue to represent the city on legal matters, but would also work for a local law firm. There is still time for Neal and the City Council to reach an agreement. His contract will not expire until the end of the month.
