Monarch Utilities, the water provider for the Rancho Brazos subdivision that was hit hard by the May 15 tornado, announced today that the water plant there has been rebuilt ahead of schedule. The company noted, however, more work remains before the water situation returns to normal, including inspections and disinfection. A free, self-serve water-fill station is available for Rancho Brazos customers. It’s at the water plant site, 3708 Sundown Trail. It features potable water appropriate for drinking, cooking, bathing, etc. Residents should bring their own jugs.
