Charlie Rebel Martin, 23, of Pitkin, La., on Monday pleaded guilty to sexual assault of a child in 355th Judicial District Court. A plea bargain will keep him out of prison if he completes seven years of deferred adjudication, which includes a number of legal requirements. District Attorney Rob Christian said the victim and her mother signed affidavits requesting the charge be dismissed and that Pitkin be put on deferred adjudication probaton.
