A contingent of city and county officials will be traveling to Austin on Friday (Feb. 15) to meet with officials at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) regarding concerns about Lake Granbury and the Brazos River Authority (BRA). Representing the county will be Commissioner Steve Berry and County Judge Darrell Cockerham. Voicing concerns for the city will be Granbury City Manager Wayne McKethan, Mayor Pro Tem Nin Hulett and council members Mickey Parson and Tony Allen. Over the next few months, the TCEQ will be considering a water usage plan that the agency had mandated the BRA submit.
