Located north of Granbury on Highway 51, the Laguna Vista neighborhood has been without water on occasion and under a boil water notice off and on all summer – most recently for six weeks in a row. The three water wells in Laguna Vista have not been keeping up with the demand, according to information from Laguna Vista Water Company. The water company plans to connect Laguna Vista with facilities at a sister water company in Laguna Tres where several water wells are not in use. Laguna Tres is a couple of miles south of Laguna Vista, across from Hunter Park on Highway 51. Residents could have drinking water in about 30 days, according to a letter from Billy Martin, field operations manager.
