Juvenile center inmate charged as adult in assault on officer

Tarrant County resident Josiah Isaiah Flores, 18, on Monday was served with a felony warrant charging him with assault on a public servant in connection with an alleged March 8, 2013 attack on a detention officer while Flores was an inmate at the Granbury Regional Juvenile Justice Center, according to Granbury Police Department Cliff Andrews and Angie Lowe, facility administrator for the juvenile center. Flores was transferred to the Hood County Jail and will be tried as an adult on the assault charge, Andrews said.
