Elections Administrator Lois Joplin says that some people are under the mistaken impression that mailed ballots are not counted until after Election Day. Joplin says the ballots are due back to her office on Election Day,Nov. 6, and the votes on those ballots are added to the early voting numbers that are released once the polls close. The last day to request a ballot by mail is Tuesday, Oct. 30.
